Hi Girls and Boys,
I hope you all had a great weekend. Your teachers have been telling me about all the great work that you have been doing for the past few months. Well done! I am very impressed with all that you and your families have achieved to do during this time.
I hope you will enjoy the action packed sports week that I have enjoyed planning for you. The activities and links will provide you with a variety of options to keep active and healthy for the week and beyond.
Each day is divided into three sections; morning, before lunch and after lunch, just like we do at school. I would love to see one or two photos of you doing your activities during the week. You can send your photo to my email soreilly@shandrumns.org and I will put them all up on the school website for you and your teacher to see.

I understand that every family, home, garden, equipment etc. will be different, so I have included a lot of variety which can be adapted to suit your circumstances. Where there are families of more than one pupil I would recommend you follow the activities of just one pupil each day and do the activities together as a family rather than each child working from their own class timetable. You could pick from a different child’s timetable each day. I have linked many of the activities across the timetables to suit family situations and any of the activities can be adapted to suit everyone.
Just think of STEP - Increase or decrease the Space or Distance, amend the Task, change the Equipment or add, involve or change the People playing the game.

Finally, remember to do what you can and the most important thing is TO HAVE FUN and KEEP ACTIVE!
