Dear Parents/Guardians,

Hope you're all keeping safe and well during this difficult time.

First Holy Communion/ Confirmation

As you know we were looking forward to celebrating the sacraments of First Holy Communion and Confirmation in our Parish in the coming months.

Today, we were informed by the Diocese of Cloyne that all confirmations are postponed until further notice due to Covid-19.

As of now a decision hasn't been made regarding the First Holy Communion ceremonies in Newtownshandrum and Dromina, but there is obviously great uncertainty about these going ahead also. If we cannot celebrate them on the scheduled dates, we will do so on the earliest possible dates after allowing for appropriate preparation.

We will keep you all informed and we will follow Government and HSE guidelines at all times.

In the meantime, let us pray for one another and may God send you every grace and blessing.
